Naturopathic Medicine

What is Naturopathic Medicine?

Naturopathic Medicine is a primary healthcare approach that combines modern science with traditional and natural healing approaches. Naturopathic doctors (ND) complete a Bachelor's degree followed by a rigorous 4-year naturopathic medical program through an accredited school. NDs in BC undergo international and provincial board exams to grant licensure for practice.

Naturopathic medicine is built upon principles which guide our approach to providing healthcare to patients. Naturopathic doctors aim to treat the root cause of illness and encourage the body's own healing mechanisms. Using a variety of modern, traditional and natural treatment modalities, we can create an individualized plan suited to each patient's case, preference and lifestyle.  Through patient education about the body and the reasons for choosing a therapy, patients feel more empowered to commit on their journey back to health.

Here at Nourish Wellness Clinic, health is more than the physical - which is why exploring the mind, body and soul is at the centre of our clinical approach to your health!

What  to Expect?

Initial naturopathic visits are 60-minutes long, allowing Dr. Brûlé the time to fully understand all aspects of each patient's current issues and past medical history. The initial consultation includes a detailed health history, focused physical exams and discussion around treatment options. Follow-up visits vary on a case-by-case basis.
