Nourish Your Grief Program
a 4-week Virtual Workshop Series with Geneviève

What does it mean to  Nourish Your Grief?

As we move through the grief journey, we can choose to honour and nourish our grief, or we can choose to just simply survive our grief. Nourishing our grief starts by deepening our understanding of grief as a whole, as well as learning how our own unique grief affects us - mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually. This allows us to better understand how to support ourselves and develop coping tools for healing. We can begin to create safe spaces for healing in our lives and explore tools that help us move through loss.

Grief is a difficult, yet very significant reality of life. It is common to feel overwhelmed, lost or confused through the grieving process. You are not alone and Geneviève's hope is that this series offers some guidance and a place of healing and connection. Through a little guidance, education and self-exploration you can begin to actively engage with your grief to facilitate deeper healing and ultimately find peace.

This workshop series may be for you if you are...

  • grieving a loss (recent or past)

  • feeling confused about how grief is affecting you

  • seeking a deeper understanding of grief and loss

  • looking for some tools to help you cope with grief

This 4-week workshop series will be led by Geneviève Brûlé, naturopathic doctor, yoga & meditation teacher, and grief advocate. These weekly educational and experiential sessions are an opportunity to explore your journey through grief in a safe, compassionate space, and develop some tools to nourish your grief. Each week we will come together to connect online. The first half of the session is focused on education and discussion about a variety of grief topics, and the second half is an exploration of healing/coping tools. The goal of the series is to develop a deeper understanding of your own unique grief and how to move through your grief to find deeper healing.

We will explore

  • Coping and healing tools for processing thoughts and emotions related to grief (mindfulness exercises, breathwork, journaling, rituals and more)

  • Gentle Yoga to help release tension and emotions from the body

  • Self-reflection exercises to deepen your understanding of YOUR grief

About Geneviève

I am a licensed naturopathic doctor and yoga teacher practicing mianly through my home-based clinic, Nourish Wellness Clinic, in Cloverdale, BC. In my practice, I use naturopathic medicine, acupuncture, craniosacral therapy, counselling, breathwork, mindfulness and yoga to support patients on their healing journey. My approach is trauma-informed and focuses on the mind, body, soul connection.

I came to do grief work after multiple losses  - the most significant being the loss of my beautiful mother, Suzanne and a miscarriage. Since the passing of my mother in 2014 I have deepened my knowledge in the grief space through continuing education, grief research, books and working with patients. I offer one-on-one consults for grief support, however have recently felt called to create a community for grief and loss education and support.
