I am also a certified RYT-200-hour Yoga Teacher. Having trained as a classical ballet dancer from the age of 3, movement and expression has always been a large part of my life. I began doing yoga in 2010, as an addition to dance, and instantly fell in love with the practice. Over the years, my personal yoga practice has evolved from a goal of fitness to a platform of physical, spiritual and emotional connection. Yoga has helped me develop an even deeper appreciation for the interconnectedness of the mind, body and spirit.
In my naturopathic approach, I aim to combine naturopathic medicine with yoga practice and philosophy, whenever it may be a good fit. As a yoga teacher, I have the privilege of sharing the many teachings, tools and benefits yoga has to offer. In my classes, I aim to create a safe space and practice, allowing students to connect deeper to the body, mind and spirit, ultimately leaving class feeling more grounded and calm. My classes often incorporate meditation, pranayama (breath work) and alignment-based asanas (poses).
